Use Slime Arrows to activate or turn off platforms. Activate them to make the character reach the portal, or turn them off to block enemies and build up speed. Sometimes you will want to turn them on/off quickly, but be careful not to drop through. Or just focus on trying for the best time in the Speedrun Mode.
